Offered is this extremely tall antique, 17th century Gothic wood frame that has been carefully restored and modified to add a new mirror. This piece likely held a piece of stained glass or an oil painting in a church. The rustic frame has all of the prominent Gothic features including multiple arches and spires that one wants to see in a frame of this period and style. Two columns rest upon a highly carved shelf like element and rise ultimately to two spires which bookend the centre spire which tops the mirror. This the a great adaptation of an old architectural church/religious element that has been modified for use in today's home.
